This project is a complete tile roof tear-off and replacement on a residential property in Boca Raton, Florida — located within Palm Beach County, which enforces a 170 mph wind speed design standard and Exposure Category C per the Florida Building Code 8th Edition (2023).
The scope includes full removal of the existing tile system down to the deck, deck re-nailing with 8d ring-shank nails per FBC Section 706.7.1, installation of a self-adhered secondary water barrier underlayment system, and installation of a new concrete tile system per Palm Beach County product approval requirements.
All Boca Raton projects require submission through the City of Boca Raton Building Department (not Palm Beach County), including the Supplemental Roofing Package, Single Family Re-Roofing Affidavit, product approvals, and Notice of Commencement.
